The Founding
Navari Rivertalon grew in a world of turmoil, young when her homeland was taken over by the Garleans and chased out of Ala Mhigo she struggled to stay alive. As she was just a child she was unable to procure work and she survived on what bread she could swipe from the counters of local merchants. She traveled and stowed away with merchants in hopes to find a better community for herself and that's how she arrived at Limsa and began her journey.
In Limsa she met with a Pirate who saw value in someone who was small and light weight. At the same-time she was taught to fight typically using her bare hands or with daggers, this way she could react quickly due to her size and strength. As she grew up a pirate they treated her more as a member of the crew. Her name grew increasingly well known even out at the seas as a cut throat woman with a strong fist. An indescribable bounty was placed on her which could even rival her very own captain. It wasn't until she was betrayed by her rescuer and Captain that she was sold to an Ul'dah merchant to fight in the arena her life started to take a new turn.
Drugged by her own family, and sold for the reward. She quickly found herself in the pits trying to fight off her crimes. She lost her first few matches leaving her buyer slightly disappointed. He tried various incentives but her desire to live was already gone when her own father figure had decided to sell her as a slave. Her reputation out on the seas, however, reached a very influential man. This lalafel presented himself with great caution but arrogance. He began to recount her life from the tales that were heard from seas. It was then he smiled and decided to make a deal. He made it clear he was aware she was a better fighter than majority in the cages. His goal was to give incentive. He offered to buy her freedom in the condition she wins the next ten matches, then she was to be free to do as she'd like except with a simple stipulation, to be the bodyguard to his son.
Navari took the deal, her life took another strange turn. She began to fight crime with the Brass Blades and even Ul'dah working the life as a detective. She formed her own business and made contacts all over Eorzea, in attempts to gather information on her betrayal, but to also gain the power to prevent anything like that from happening to her again. Rolodanu the son of her benefactor entered the picture merely one year after she earned her freedom.
The Talon Company was founded and Navari used what assets she could to enlist in a craftsman business, enlisting the help of able bodied professionals in order to raise money to obtain what she always wanted, true freedom. While initially acting as a dectective and babysitting a poor Lalafel misguided in his ways, she has decided to take position of a principal of her very own academy and raise an army within the confines of what seems to be a combat academy, the Rivertalon Academy to battle back what foes pose a danger to her estranged popoto as well as put an end to the trouble that ails her.
